Why does nobody rematch after they win?

Online chess IS different, and I've read about half the thread, and I'll try an angle I haven't seen fully fleshed out yet.

1. "OTB doesn't have instant ratings changes". and Ratings Matter.
Whether it's the "Veteran's Hall/Church Basement" (the classic venues - club in the basement and Gus's 4 Round 8 man tourneys on Saturdays with 14 players in the Veteran's hall), in a club plus local scene the subconscious hierarchy evolves after a few months. You never play more than 30 people *ever* unless you really travel for tourneys.

"C-Com" has done one thing right, and that is to throw money at the game, and also list player flags, and an explosion of new players in the last four years have showed up between there and here,

(Currently the culture difference seems to be in how Top-Heavy the Kid Controls and Loss Leaders for Sales are over there, but *not the players*.

So if you're on a 6 hour hunt to grind 14 wins against 8 losses in a 20 game set to try to max out your rating, if everyone wants rematches that becomes 11 hours! (then you fall over from exhaustion and lose 6 games and then rage quit 50 points down!!)

2. But then ya know, it's *not* the same game. It creaked with Auto-check detection (instant loss OTB remember?) and Hover-Piece (Remember how you get *laughed at* doing that OTB?!) And the VERY complex "triple interlocked Kappa-Troll" culture is almost impossible to mesh with Old School Ethics.

And then PreMove crushed the arms race, topped off with *Diagram Arrows*, so you can "remember not to do that check that drops your queen so it's not mate bro lol gg". (And this week I *even heard* "oh man, I was drawing arrows and mouse slipped!" (??!!!))

It's not the same game. So as a "related game", I'm all for it! Masters streaming all day long, even the Experts and amateurs, "But What Does The Comp Say?" determines you don't even get to try an attack anymore, because they laugh at you via the computer, and yes, the first twelve moves of anyone's home prep now is comp based, and your "system" that used to buy you a year of wins OTB is toast in a month online!

Over on the other Bughouse thread, some of those crew didn't read enough Business Books, it's not "arrogant to request a feature", it's the pair of business books on Fremium and Loss Leaders. But what is *far easier* than I agree a 400-hour effort to put in Bughouse, is "Seek Series".

Then you let the *Demand Draw" culture trickle around for *year!*. So then everyone in lobby can see in passing "seeks series" and that's gotta be 50 hours max over there, like 10 hours of code and a week to bug-fix it.

(Edited for some of typos)
Regardless of whether i win , lose or draw i never ask for a rematch nor accept the offer of one - i play each game in isolation and move on to another opponent after a brief break
I dont understand why some get all emotional and butt hurt about this none issue,
maybe they are cutting their losses. Perhaps they don't like the kid of games you generate with them.
Sometimes I rematch several times in a row. Sometimes I rematch once or twice. Sometimes I don't rematch at all. These are all for various reasons.

It mostly depends on my opponent's style of play, if they are rude or not, how challenging they are, and how much time I got.

When I enjoy your style of play, you are not rude, you are challenging, and I got a lot of time you are likely to get several rematches.

When you play weird, you are rude, you are not challenging, and I'm short on time you are likely to not get a rematch.
