@zikalify Don't let your rating put you off going! There will be many people at your level and will learn fast interacting with other chess players. Joining a club is the best thing you can do for learning and socialising. And OTB is a whole different experience to playing online.
I did play in a chess club sadly the person who runs the club is a COWARD and refuses to run it anymore his excuse is covid which is a joke considering everything else had opened up and has been for months we even have chess clubs open in other parts of the country and have tournaments going but nothing here how can you justify having the club here closed when other places has had more deaths and cases and yet are now open?
