Why did stockfish 7 sacrifices the queen here? In the next move I took the queen and, no surprise, won the game.
ibb.co/mv28RpSThere isn't a game.
There is a link to the problem now.
You used 7 take backs against stockfish, so I guess stockfish got confused and just hung the queen out of pity lol
OTB you never get take backs :)
here's the game
(Might want to crop ur screenshots next time XD)
@guszfrabaI once played Stockfish level 5 and had 7 remaining pawns to it's K and p. I only made 4 Q's and quickly mated it's K, so as to avoid a stalemate.
Here's a game vs. Stockfish lvl. 6 where it gave me a B for pawn. I went on to win. Maybe it was the same idea your game had?
lichess.org/UoeZbkx2mmqyI did not know stockfish has a "random pity capability" built in. :) Well, I am a beginner experimenting. I do make takebacks but it never happened before.
Maybe stock fish got too cocky like me, cuz I play chess with my friends and they are noobs at chess and I’m sort of a pro. So sometimes I do times odds and queen odds
