So, I'm seriously considering hiring one of the coaches listed here in lichess. But I was wondering if it will be any good. Did you ever hire one? If so, did you notice a great improvement in your game? What coach do you recommend?
I didnt hire anyone but from watching his streams and youtube vids IM Alex Asteneh Lopez seems extremely good at explaining things.Also it looks like he has best reviews here .

I've watched some of his streams. He seems good but he is way pricey. I saw some people here with good qualifications, training competitive players who is even a certified FIDE trainer and charges $10/h. That seems reasonable for a player of my level.
I didnt hired coach from lichess but most of them are trainers in real life also, I guess they are pretty good at explaining things so i would reccomend to hire one.
Did I? No. I mostly learned on my own, reading books, analyzing my games... ect.
Will I? Not sure.
