We all know that humans sometimes fall short, sometimes disappoint, sometimes fail and let us down.
But they also sometimes come through! Sometimes lift the car off the baby, or just something simple like keeping a promise to a friend.
What times did someone really come through for you (or a friend) that left you both glad you have such a friend, and lifting your hopes a little bit for humanity.
Well my landlord is also a friend of mine. I only pay $400 per month in rent when everything around me rents for $1200 or more. I do do my own maintenance.
He really comes through when something breaks. Stove stops working he gets me a brand new stove,refrigerator stops working he gets me a brand new refrigarator. Bedroom ac broke down and a new one is on the way via UPS ( waiting for delivery today ,which is great because we're up to 110F here in Tucson).
It's good to know someone who isn't ruled by greed and money.
Another time was when my younger brother died.
My friend Rich came over and we just spent the whole night drinking good whiskey and reminiscing about my brother.That really helped me through a very difficult time,just having someone to talk to.

I was raised as against violence against women. Or violence against someone to "shut them up," regardless of gender. But generally, especially violence against women.
I can proudly say that I've been slapped by men, women, and children.
My friend gave me good advice a couple months ago,it was inspiring,he said u cant wait things happening to you by itself,u have to do some action,it opened my eyes but i still remain passive,but it was good advice
