creation of a new time control

i believe that time controls from 5:01 - 9:59 should be given a separate classification: How about the term 'Quick Chess' to classify this category. With the addition of increments, which should be given an additional added time to the total by say, 50 move average (for quick chess or blitz ). So if you have a 5 3 game control, you have 5 minutes and then add to it 150 seconds (3 x 50) and you have a 7min and 30 sec game, which qualifies for the Quick time control. A game with an 8 3 time control would fall under Rapid ( 8 min 150 seconds = 10 min 30 sec), etc. This is important because the results for a 3 2 game doesn't equate with a 5 3 game, for example. And if you go by the formula, 3 2 is 3 min and 100 sec or 4 min 40 sec. ave. which fall into the 'blitz' category. Many players, myself included, do much better at 5 3 than 3 2, or 5 0, for example. My rating would never consistently be 2100 at the 3 2 level, because i need more time to think and consolidate a winning game, as well as present better defensive resources. If a level between blitz and rapid were created, i could play the different levels, not worrying about losing rating points simply because i can't think that fast--* I'm 63 and my reflexes aren't like they used to be, so i always elect to play with increments. Give it some thought. I'm sure you would get a lot of support in this area! Thanks!

@Kingalingaling Interesting suggestion! I also think that "rapid" is way too broad of a category and a 7+3 game doesn't have the same feel as a 20+0 game.
Rapid should be fast, but I find it really slow!
