A dumb question guys, but is it even possible to blunder so hard throughout the game that you get a 500 ACPL?
it's 5 pawns loss so 1 rook loss, euuh blunder to lose a rook, yes it's possible
yes. this game lichess.org/Ms43EvGP has 561 ACPL
its possible to get ~2000 acpl with both players working together to get that
Credits to the SavageAntarctican and Wallace for this game
EDIT: the reason they only went to 100 moves is that the engine can only analyse up to 100 moves, if u didn't know alrdy ;)
If you play against Stockish level 1 , probably yes
the acpl is quite high here the acpl can only be 2000 which we achieve when we played a position out when the knight as on c4 allready soo that bh4 and nd6 was a mate all the time till move 100
but in a game from move 0 in standard chess i guess this is the max acpl.

Has anyone ever got 2000?!
see game 4 in this study a acpl of 2k has been reached but that game was from position but a acpl of 2k is never been reached i think in the standard position in chess
You are in big trouble when your ACPL is higher than your rating...
