Absolutely Destroy The Caro-Kann

Im 2200+ and it's still extremely effective, you can check the exlorer and see how often Black plays the e6 setup
@CkickyCheck, intereting blog. Also I would like you to analyze another very sharp variation in Caro-Kann:
1. e4 c6
2. d4 d5
3. e5 Bf5
4. g4!? (Bayonet Attack)
Interesting stuff, maybe worth a go in blitz. I guess you could even play it on move 6 as well after 4...Nd7 5.Nf3 Ngf6, that is very likely to transpose into lines already covered as it seems very likely Black would take on e4 and play ...Nd7-f6, and that move order also means there’s a few lines Black can no longer play, such as the line with the early ...Qd5 which looks (from the very brief glance I had) like quite a decent option for Black.

Take on e4, play Qd5xe4, Nd7-b6-c8-d6. That seems to be the line for black.

But an interesting idea.
I like the new idea in this blog! However, maybe the title could be something closer to "A Secret Weapon Against the Caro Kann!" instead of promising to destroy it.
At one point I played this as black as much as I could and noticed 5Qd3. In typical non-960 fashion, once "everyone" has absorbed the engine analysis, via someone's course or their own investigation, another surprise becomes desirable.
...as to Qd3, one certainly cannot fault one of the top engine moves, although good point that black can choose whether to swap queens or not according to her style, still at the Hans level we should see it sometime but Caro a surprise weapon following 1..c5 or 1..e5
