Lichess Half-Year Update & New Feature Sneak Preview

Would it be possible to add some types of pieces and board colors?
I think that many (including me) prefer the type of piece called "Glass" (yes, that one from chess.com) since it is exactly what Nakamura uses.
And also a suggestion, chess.com's own "infinite" multi premove; doing only one premove makes you lose some games because of the connection and it is very frustrating
PD: I can assure you that many people will see lichess differently and will want to play here <3

They destroyed couple of features before latest one being about embedded games. At times they just bring terrible features.
Only 'improvement for disabled people' feature was good.

omg the Lichess Tutor is gonna be a game-changer for this sight... this will make lichess so much more better than the $10/mo (ridiculous) membership on chess.com! It'll completely blow away the competition imo. I can't wait! Keep it up lichess!

I get alerts in my windows notification when someone notifies me in my inbox. That's when my browser is closed, but not logged out of lichess. I don't have to have the page on to get alerted. All I need is my computer to be one. So that is why I asked if the feature was by inbox notification or by some sort of other email address. I assume it's only lichess that sends that automated email alert.

would like to see the viewer able to move pieces with the keyboard (left and right arrows, for example)... using the mouse seems clunky, and runs into the problem of mouse scroll settings..... not sure how you could fix that internally if someone wants to set the mouse to scroll 20 lines each scroll event...

great feature updates. can't wait to see what tutor can do

You can install it on Lichess using stylus.

Premoves in Lichess take no time at all when made correctly. No time loss for single premove is a superior feature to multiple pre-moves with each move losing some time. The factor for human error is accounted and also there is some scope for playing sensible moves quickly with premoves in Lichess.

No time loss is among the best features of Lichess, and also maybe the oldest one. Not sure though.

Not any time soon, the article says it is too early to announce a live date. I know when I saw the UI I thought it was like now
