A friend registered on Lichess has tried several times but is unable for some technical reason to request to join our team in the usual way. Is there any way I as Team Leader can appoint him to the team without receiving such a request? Or could the site administrators do it for us? Otherwise, we can't get him in the team to play in our tournaments.
I just made a request to join, you can accept or deny, I will quit if you accept (not an ultimatum, just in case...;)
I wanted to test. Were all the other new joiners also new? what is new. You could temporarily open it to everybody without approval, see if that works (would be a temp fix).
I am curious to know if you find a solution, could you please explain here or post where you are at in terms of progress.
