@NightOFzero I'm not criticizing you for this post, it is somewhat hilarious but understandable. Just the sad part is, it is mostly true. For example, during a few last months I played a few games on chess.com and not saw any lags there, but on lichess I got severe reconnecting issues multiple times, often costing me the games/rating. The situation was vice versa a year or two ago. As for the cheating problem, it is really hard one to solve, but I feel lichess was the closest one to do that. But in a few last years they made a few steps back according to my conversations with people who actually do cheat detection... So now the problem looks even more hopeless than it was. I understand that the site is run mostly in people's free time but I also saw lots of effort invested into reshuffling design and unimportant features during the past years, while those two fundamental problems are regressing.

Wolfram_EP i wrote this post last year, probably when i lost to a cheater and got tilted. Ofc Its not 100% right what i wrote, but im still saying that the cheating problem in online chess nowadays is bad...
Now Imagine trying to play on cc and not ob lichess xD
On cc statistically on a 2300+ lvl every 3rd person is a cheater. They ban between 100 and 150k cheaters per month...
@Wolfram_EP sadly, I also face a lot more connection issues these days. It wasn't as bad thev last years...
But I have to say, a year ago, there was a cheater in every second hourly I looked at. Atm, it has been ages I saw them in hourlys...
Maybe cheaters just got smarter:(
I get disconnected every 10ish games and that never used to happen before. Though I don't usually have so much of a problem with cheaters, that's only a once a month kinda thing for me. However it would be nice to be able to play on Lichess without having so many connection problems. :(
@NeverOFzero Unfortunately cheaters got definitely smarter.. just look at the statistic several years ago, and nowadays...
It's really getting on my nerves ;(
