So, there is a NGO, near my house, just opposite if I say, This NGO helps those children, who can't afford Education, financial issues, and other aspects too,(I don't know much about it)
So, since today, I saw NGO work so hard on those children, teach them, teach them music, teach them dance, painting, life skills.
And also on their hard work, treat them Ice-creams, food and etc.
But today I witnessed something else,
There was a junk dealer, and he was around child age, (looked like just entered teenage or middle of teenage gap)
I don't know the background, but a person from NGO was scolding him because, he spilled some trash maybe(that how it looked)
Such a HIGH PITCH scolding, such Harsh tone, and I could see the sadness in the child eyes.
NGO person, making a claim that NGO children just cleaned up the area.
Okay, My point is that, come on he is ALSO a child!
maybe he is not in NGO, but come- on, the person could keep up soft tone, politely said it.
But That's hypocrisy.
I mean he is a child, just like NGO students.
I was Hot blooded, but I couldn't say anything, I don't know My mouth shut itself.
And I regret it!!
(by the way I need to work on more diplomatic speech or else there would be quarrel lol, nvm)
Their could be a mis understanding, what I perceived, but that what I had seen at that moment.

Some bullies never grow up
He's probably insufferably self righteous also.

oh I understand now, where you point that lol (after seeing your quoted msg)
well, i didn't speak instantly and I was quiet, because i knew i would be rude, and it may rage a war maybe, a calm, diplomatic and understanding , kind speech(words) is imp for making connections and make a point valid. (I know, anger won't take anywhere, and maybe my silence was a good choice at that moment)
I also regret, i couldn't think calm, but next time I will surely practice that in sudden situations :)

Isn’t yelling at children normal??? So you’re telling me adults don’t yell on kids was I the only one?
The NGO person may have been trying to protect the cleanliness of the area. If the NGO children had worked hard to clean the place, seeing trash being spilled would naturally be frustrating. Maybe the child does this often who knows?
We cannot judge people so quickly without knowing the full situation.
As someone who comes from a very strict school. I do not find the reaction completely wrong.
I understand that the child’s self-esteem may be affected but such moments do not permanently define a child’s worth. (seriously do you expect them to keep it to their core? If yes.. then I am concerned if you took every yelling to the core.)
it is also important to try and understand the NGO person’s perspective.
But hey? I could also be wrong. I have seen children of all ages being yelled at (Even me!) I never found it harsh especially considering my school’s discipline actions (they basically give u a TC or Suspension and No I am not lying this has actually happened)

To me, this is very happy, not sad.
