Scandinavian with Qd6

Is the opening e4 d5 exd qxd followed by a Qd6 (when the black queen gets attacked) playable for Black at 2000 level?
Yes of course, it is even playable at 2800 level.
It is a better version of the Caro-Kann - Bent Larsen.
it is playable yes, even the 3...Qd8 scandinavian is playable
It does not really matter: 3...Qa5, 3...Qd6, 3...Qd8, even 3...Qe5+. Black plays ...c6 and ...Qc7 anyway.
You can play every opening from noob until GM. I doubt that amateurs can make the opening responsible for their performances. In most cases the games will not be decided prematurely when choosing a common opening.

Of course Qd6 cannot be refuted.
Thanks Tpr so it is playable . I try get a set up with qb6 and a c5 break is this advisable??
I have played this Qd6 variation often. I typically combine Qd6 with an a6 + b5 pawn break, and fianchettoe the LSB on the long diagonal. Check out the opening explorer if you want to see how masters have played it. It's definitely playable (I'm 1900 USCF)
