Can't select pieces on first click

Since yesterday's updates, I haven't been able to select pieces when I click on them once. I have to click on them several times before I can select them, which has led to many time losses. This doesn't happen every single time I try to select a piece, but it does happen often enough to be highly unpleasant.

This is not an issue with my mouse, because my mouse works fine on other programs/websites, and I tried using a different mouse and had the same problem.

Please, please fix this bug!
