Getting timeout even if I am playing the game properly

I was just playing a game when my pieces move backwards. I keep moving it but the time kept going. Then I got 6 hours of timeout even if I am playing the game by its rules

You're probably in timeout because you're aborting a lot of games.

Looking at your game history, I see a lot of aborted games. That is, they were manually aborted, or you didn't make a move.

This is not ok, and will get you in the trouble you are experiencing.

Not sure what "moving backward" means here. Note that you can navigate through the game while you play, maybe by accident using the mouse wheel.

Looking at your game history, I see **a lot** of aborted games. That is, they were manually aborted, or you didn't make a move. It would, because lichess would think you were playing somewhere else and log out

May I ask what the source is for your claims? Because I have been logged in on multiple devices for years and never had any problems you suggest to happen. Neither were there ever problems mentioned in that regard on the forums.

If you have too many tabs, Lichess might think you are cheating or copying other peoples games while playing your own game, causing Lichess to shut down your game, but because there were multiple tabs, it might have glitched.
