I am new here so forgive me for my ignorance. The last couple games on Bullet I had many more points than my opponent but when my clock ran out, I lost. Why is this?
You must manage your time. If after your time runs out, and your opponent could theoretically checkmate you through a sequence of legal moves, then you lose.
It's pretty much the same if you got checkmated and you've got a "vast amount" of material left...
Yeah even a single knight could checkmate you if you have a pawn left.
because chess is a timed sport, play without a time control if you don't want that.
I'm confused. There are no points in a game of chess, so how could you have more?
@DunnoItAll i think he talks of piece worth counting.
If so, he needs to realize those aren't points and are not an objective of the game of chess.
