Lone Wolf is a 30+30 individual league, not the same as the 4545 Team league. We’d love to see JB play in the 4545 Team league! Maybe for season 45!? :)
But just to clarify, LoneWolf (where jg insists on adding space between Lone and Wolf even though its not there) 30+30 league is part of the Lichess4545 umbrella.

I tried applying for the league and lonewolf, I guess it is too late to play any games in the current season league?
I don't think it's too late to play Lonewolf, but I could be wrong. You can also sign up for 45+45 as an alternate (for when a player can't play on a particular week). You then get priority for the next season.
People can sign up for LoneWolf all the way up through week 8, so that's several weeks from now. It's fun, you should do it!
