Don't change your mouse. If you get timed out, you can play and practice bullet to improve your mouse speed.

Well, you should definetely not get a living mouse - those won't help you in time trouble!
More likely, I would recommend to stop changing mice, and buy a pet one instead.

Minimize your board, so each square is just a few pixels in size. That minimizes the distance you have to travel with the mouse.
