FIDE adjusts its ratings to be more in line with Lichess

Lichess is currently preparing the official press release. All Lichess players will be given an official FIDE profile and the Lichess and FIDE rating will be the same. if you are 2000 Lichess, you will automatically become 2000 FIDE even if you have never played OTB. if you already have an OTB rating, this will be directly transformed into your Lichess rating. the afternoon of work was extremely constructive and Lichess will change its status to become a foundation. contracts have also been signed with UNESCO and WWF

Even though it was still Elo, I dare say FIDE's March 2024 rating adjustment already kind of achieved this.

nice april fools, third april fools and i finally caught it. I can't wait to try this new rating system, at least when i am good enough do FIDE instead of USCF
