Alright, I know that 2 or 3 times before, I was confident that I had solved the problem, only to be wrong. (Ouch.) I won't be wrong this time! Getting the solution took me maybe an hour to an hour and a half, including the time to verify that the problem's final position can actually be reached from the starting position of a legal game. (You're not asked to do this, but I was curious.) I made all of the moves in edit mode in my Arena GUI. Arena was verifying the legality of all of the moves, so I know I didn't make any dumb mistakes. :-)

It would be very nice to get those moves leading to the solution. Can you provide them?

You're lucky; I almost deleted the PGN file the other day, but at the last minute, I decided to save it a bit longer. I don't think I really needed the black knight on the board, except that I used it to capture all of the unneeded white pieces, and then I just left the black knight on the board. I could just not had the black knight on the board, and then right before the White king moves to g7, I could have had Black waste a tempo by moving the black queen.

I think these problems are getting harder, at least for me. I didn't get #15, and it looks like #16 isn't any easier than #15.

Thank you very much for the PGN. I agree that recent problems have been hard. Nevertheless correct solutions are usually posted as fast as within two minutes after a new problem has been released. I wonder how that is even possible.
