my opponant hashim 777 had a bishop and a knight vs my lone king and it was declared a draw on insufficiant material. it is theoretically possible to win, but difficult and rarely done, especilly in short time control. but this was unfair to my opponant, who should have been allowed to attempt the checkmate.mcdonough

Either your opponent resigned or offered a draw. Then, draw was automatically claimed because you had lone king and lone king can't checkmate opponent.
