You sound like you hate gay people.

Hmm. Sounds a bit like you.
@LordSupremeChess let me explain like you're 5 years old:

1) Gay Pride started as a social movement to say that it's ok to be gay, and to fight for gay rights.

2) In reaction, conservatives and homophobes started a "social movement" (in clousems semantics) called Straight Pride, to make fun of Gay Pride. They are the ones who hate gays.

3) In your post #38 you ask if Lichess would forbid usernames that refer to ANY social movement.

4) The answer is no. Lichess decided to ban the username Straight_Pride because it refers to a hateful "social movement".

5) However not all social movements are morally the same, and if you were to choose a username that refers to a social movement (such as, for instance, the Civil Rights movement) that is not reprehensible, then you would presumably not be banned. This should answer your question in #38.

Let me also point out that you should refrain from calling people psycho or homophobes for no reason, as this might eventually lead to a ban.

My problem is, the victors always choose the truth.
Also, when did I call you a psycho? I don't see it anywhere.
And, where's the proof?

Not always. But often.

On the other hand, some are downright hateful and outrageous, and when they are called out they hide behind concepts such as "freedom of speech" or "victor's truth", while, were they the victors, they would simply abolish freedom of speech.

> I think the name was created to be offensive as well as evasive, which is not conducive to having a friendly community. If you go around offending people on purpose, you shouldn't be surprised when people take action. So, in my view, your account name is a dog whistle. One that uses appropriation of the "gay pride" name to speak out against the values of that community, instead of stating your own values. I think it's about as disingenuous as "white pride", using the same kind of offensive appropriation.
why is it always with u guys that u think everything has some underlying hint of rascism XD also white pride is fine if other ethnicities can be proud of their skin color then so can whites i say this as someone who has experienced rascism in my life just becuz some skin colors have historically been segregated due to their skin color doesnt mean its still a ongoing problem. and any segregation that does occur these days is due too the unfortunate self segregation of these people trying to ancestral guilt trip people

"White Pride" is only used by Nazis in my part of the world.

Apparently it's like that in the English-speaking world as well en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_pride

"White pride and white power are expressions primarily used by white separatist, white nationalist, fascist, neo-Nazi and white supremacist organizations in order to signal racist or racialist viewpoints.[2][3] It is also a slogan used by the prominent post-Ku Klux Klan group Stormfront and a term used to make racist/racialist viewpoints more palatable to the general public who may associate historical abuses with the terms white nationalist, neo-Nazi, and white supremacist."
