All this only complicates matters.
I don't see why it won't work how it is.
We don't want to spend time for this.
The whole idea of this topic is to let it run all by itself.
I will just repeat from time to time the open requests.
At the moment we have 2.
Just post here when you open or accept a challenge and tell us the results.
That's all what is needed.
This is not a tournament. It's just an excellent oportunity for you to practice and enjoy serious chess games.

Both are within the desired rating frame.
So, why not simply start the Match?

Any time between 4:30 am and 4:30 pm UTC works (except 11:30-12:30). Thanks!

This sounds like an interesting idea to be implemented as a feature on lichess itself. of course it does not have the demand to justify that. but it would be cool to see a matches feature as part of a team's page.

I've considered it, but sadly, the timing doesn't work for me (0:00-4:30 in my area)...
