NO BRO :)
You are having a misunderstanding
@Florentino_placido
In certain conditions its possible for black to won

You can learn how to mate like this in a app
Chess endgame training

it's a great app

But here chance to mate is 40percent

Only the strong players can mate here
But we can also try to practice that
^__^
Hope it helps and clears tour doubt
HAVE A GOOD DAY AHEAD
:)

@BAGDOGRA-WARIORS bruh it's only possible when the pawn is on 8th rank , but still a draw is possible and hence he lost . @Florentino_placido if u don't like loosing like that , play with increment

@willbeagrandmaster
Yea but also it doesn't matter
It can be mate there also in the position of the game ;
Chess is tricky man

@Florentino_placido It's not wrong. White can promote to a bishop. In opposite colored bishop endgame, mate is still possible.

@Random_Shadow
But bro in that position you can't promote opposition bishops as the promoting square is white i.e. similar to the color of the black bishop ....
;)
Hope you understand you misunderstanding

@BAGDOGRA-WARIORS In this case, we will assume that white would play the worst moves and decide. White can still promote to a bishop, hide his king in a light square corner(let's say h1) then have his bishop beside his king(let's say h2) then the black king(f1) and the bishop could checkmate him.

@BAGDOGRA-WARIORS then promote to a knight.

The mating position would be black king on h1, knight on h2. White king on f2 and Bg2#
