Would it be nice if car racing have divisions like 12 cylinders, 10 cylinders, 8, 6, 4? Or they don't want to encourage faat driving among economy sedans by using exclusive V12 cars.
@ryan121 whats the point ? The engine and it's development costs like 5% maybe.
Division races will showcase the driver's skills. If Hamilton is the Best driver, he should win multiple division. It's like boxing. The Cream is Heavyweight division in cars case the V12 division.
perhaps a handicap system ? ie , for every million spent you get deducted time on the qualifiers , this would make the big spenders not get pole position so much
@sabutuma no. Just give same engines and drivetrain. Teams can develop their own aero packages. I think that would make it much much more fair. I don't understand what is the need to have different engines when they know that not all engines have equal performance. And not every team would be able to buy top engines. This handicap system is waste.
