Which Video Should You Watch to Gain Elo Points?

@grafterascal said in #9:

did not read, does title imply I can gain elo points for watching a video,?
watched plenty of videos over past several years. have I already become IM without knowing it?

There's a technical part to improve at chess and practical one - it's the subject of the upcoming blog post :D

I can recommend "Pegasuschess". All about how to think. Shot me up from the 16xx area to pushing for 1900.

just spend some time analysing game you've played and compare with your repertoire or expand it if new moves found.
This works, and works very well to some point. Different for every player, but there is a moment where you have either sit down specifically to learn, like understand the opening, or realize it's time to switch. But yeah, I've been doing that and it took me from 1600-ish to 2100-ish on chess.com rapid in about a year
