Suggestion for not getting tournament points when opponent does not move

Also my proposal could be experimental for short period of time to actually see what would happen (if you are right or wrong https://lichess.org/@/dongod), if situation I am saying is going to be then we could get winners (and other good rankings) of many slower paced tournaments completely fairly.

Hello, some times people do not move since they are scared, in this case, not getting tournaments points would just mean wasting 15 secs of the other person's life and that would be most unfair.

Yeah I think people should get the points.

https://lichess.org/@/YJP but you would still be getting rating points and who did not move would lose that so there is no wasted any amount of time.

@north10 Lichess tournaments can go to 10 minutes long, I am not talking about real-life tournaments, real-life tournaments are never shorter than 2 hours. And you are putting way more emphasis on rating than actually required. If your 'ACTUAL' rating is 2000, and you purposefully abandon a game, it is hardly a matter of two games before you reach back to 2000.

For longer tournaments: You still did not answer my scenario in #8, which is not at all hypothetical and very much possible. That would be WAY unfairer than #1, imagine no one even plays a game against you and you gain 50 rating but 0 points in the tournament. Lichess tournaments can't be played on good faith that no one will avoid facing top players.

Again, when two players are playing a game, a third-person cribbing over abandonment points is useless because it was none of his business in the first place. Just to benefit the third party, you are allowing the possibility of unfairly treating the first party (Ex Nepo in #2 but in a LICHESS tournament) so I believe your proposal is impractical.

And no, Lichess may add experimental-but-new features like Puzzle storm/rush etc, but it won't add experimental-and-controversial features like #1.

I understand concern for top players and respect that, however majority of players are average to below average (50% here on Lichess in rapid are below 1500).
Berserk feature is not allowed in <1300, <1500, <1700, <2000 arena tournaments, while in Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly is present option.

#1 Is there possibility to do same with not getting tournament points if opponent did not move in <1300, <1500, <1700, <2000 arenas, while getting points in all other tournaments. That way top players are protected, and situation that is happening not so rarely in those lower rated tournaments that players who got lucky have good placements or even win would be matter of past (atleast for slower paced types of games).

#2 If that not, maybe to consider option to not get full 2 points but only 1, and that it cannot count toward getting on fire and getting 4 points but sill only 1 until regular win (or something along those lines).

#3 If nothing of this is possible it would be nice and fair feature for all of us to points that players get when their opponent did not move have different color than regular wins (in all tournaments this option).

https://lichess.org/@/dongod Is this modified proposal, especially #3 acceptable for Lichess. I am hoping it is, because my only goal is to make competing not just fair for everybody but also more fun while in no way harming anybody especially top players. (It is not fun when for example in lower rated rapid arenas players winning easy way tournaments despite your claim that it is not third party business when third party is actually heavily harmed).

@north10 this is not a good suggestion because many players would just choose to not make a move so that opponent doesn't gain points. So I don't think any mod/dev would accept this suggestion.
