How much will China and India advance in the future years?

I just looked at the list of the top 100 players and I have grouped the number of players per country, in the case of Eastern Europe I qualify it as an area (because it is not a country).

East Europe 32 players
Russia 24 "
China 9 "
India 5 "
USA 6 "
Israel 4 "

I sense that in the next few years China and India are going to put more players in the top 100. 2705 billion population add up these two countries.

Russia and Est Europe will continue being chess world capital.

"Now sleeps, but someday China will wake up and the world will shake" Napoleon Bonaparte.

I think China and India will manage to climb by leaps and bounds in the elite.

A lot of attention to the child prodigies of these two Asian countries and also USA. The next world champion will be from these 3 places (although if Carlsen keeps the title for many years I would not be surprised).

Do you think something similar?.
It's been predicted for a long time. But it's not just a question of numbers. Let's not forget that the current world champion is...Norwegian :-) Not everything is mathematically predictable when it comes to the areas of human genius.
For all we know, the next WC could be someone from a remote location like, for example, Sao Tome and Principe. Who knows? Anyone can do anything.
@ChicagoDragon You seemed to have overlooked Carlsen (or you think Norway is Eastern European, which I find a bit wrong).
@AREA11
Before putting a post you should understand the subject and the narration (which I do not think you have done).
Maybe instead of AREA11 you have escaped the AREA51 of Nevada and are somewhat disoriented by the change in temperature with respect to Canada.
your all underestimating the Djibouti minds, theres bound to be a great chess player hidden deep in Djibouti
Outliers like Carlsen who fit in no scheme are always possible, sure. Because chess is nowadays easily accessible worldwide there will be no hegemony of a single country like the Sowjet union in former times. The East has risen dramatically.
@ChicagoDragon But he's got a point ... Norway, Great Britain, France etc., all countries which have Top 100 players in their own right, are definitely not part of Eastern Europe.
Sum up @ChicagoDragon 's list: There are only 80 players in it. So it is clear, that he has not listed all countries with top-100 players. Intentionally, I guess, because he is interested in the strongest countries/regios.
Iceland is the most impressive nation in my opinion. They only have like 350 000 people and most of them live in the capital. In this tiny country they have a bunch of GMs and a great list of chess players. Most GMs and titled players per capita in the world, by far. http://ratings.fide.com/topfed.phtml?country=ISL
