unresponsive ui

Deleting messages from inbox, and got prompt "Are you sure? tick this box to not show again"

After checking box, now I cannot interact with the ui at all.

"Don't show this message" implies user can continue interacting without dialogue prompting to continue, not that interaction shall no longer be possible. Restarting session restores functionality, but this should in no way be required to support basic functionality and interaction with the ui.

This is how literally every prompt on literally every other service behaves; indicating that you're sure and want to continue without being pestered, only to be unable to continue, is a hilarious joke.

I recommend it be removed altogether; there's no point in confirming a direct message be deleted if exercising the choice to dismiss confirmation comes at the cost of losing the ability to interact.

This is being brought up again with more clarity and concrete suggestion after prior call to attention was trolled to the point where no one understood what was happening, and closed due to their personal attacks.

Please consider this improvement to the user experience.
@asdago Hi, if you have anything constructive to add, please do. Otherwise, cease trolling and harassing, thanks.

This is just a duplicate of your other thread which was closed, and thus spam. You should also note that Lichess now uses its own interface rather than the browser's for a confirmation dialog. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing I don't know and honestly don't really care either way, but it means that this post is not only spam, but also completely irrelevant.

Mods, please close this thread. If you open another duplicate thread, @nutty_wombat, you will likely be chat banned, so I suggest you stop spamming.

In this case, it implies you know what you're doing. Like exiting beginner mode, or taking the safety off a gun.

This is true, but the whole thing is no longer even relevant since Lichess changed the interface to not use the browser's native dialogs anyway.
I am very confused. This issue has already been fixed by the devs. Did you mean to say "Thank you for taking care of the issue so quickly"?

Also, did I miss a message between #1 and #2? I think I didn't, because the post numbers keep the same even if posts get deleted IIRC.

So what's the point? Demonstrating what harassment is?

Presumably OP didn't realize the change was made and decided to open a duplicate of their old post which was closed because a solution was already found.

No, you didn't miss anything. OP just hates me because I dared to be helpful and offer a solution in their original post. Read lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/unable-to-delete-from-inbox for more info.

There is no point. I think OP is just trolling at this point.
