I have a game with an accuracy of 96%.
I have LOTS of 95%+ accuracy games. That's not me bragging..simply to point out that at lower levels lots of mistakes can happen. If you can spot the mistakes it makes it really easy to punish. Also often one person will "know" the ideas in the opening much better than the other.. resulting in a pummeling.
My opponent blunders in the opening.. then plays only 1 inaccuracy the rest of the game and I still crushed him. Sometimes ya just find the right plan...

Depending upon the game

> Hi,I saw many people above 96% accuracy are they cheating??
No always. Even today I got a game with 96% and I know that I didn't cheat. I was just playing while eating lunch.

I think that you can easily get a high accuracy if you are moderately good at chess and your opponent is very lower rated.

#removeAccuracy once more
- it incites cheating accusations
- it's too generous and meaningless
- it causes useless discussions between people who understand a bit of it and people who don't understand it
- it came from chesscom

NO! NO!! NO!!!
In the future, I will ignore all these endless tail-chasing discussions.
Too many people have a wildly inaccurate understanding of % Accuracy and its many limitations.
Repeated Hard Face Plants on a Hard Desk!
Bye Bye
PS: Yes, This is a FACE SAVING post.

how did play this game so good?
I am born in 1960, means i am old.
Not easy to learn much new stuff, therefore i almost always play the french with black.
1995 i read this book.
www.amazon.de/Ein-Leben-lang-Franz%C3%B6sisch-Franz%C3%B6sisch/dp/389168018X
Since then i am playing the french defense.
Maybe that i know some of the ideas in this opening.

I agree, it's annoying and not very useful.
