Because of keyboard players. My opponent made 10+ moves without losing any time whatsoever in a game they should have lost on time here:

Lichess either needs to increase the minimum time per move to something reasonable or I (and many others I think), who have been one of the biggest boosters of this otherwise great, and probably best, chess site.

It's that a threat without a threat?

I'm glad you said "or something reasonable" because however they handle it, if you premove you should have exactly 0 time taken off your clock. Otherwise it seems very unjust to me.

this is truly frustrating that kb hasn't been banned. it's an external tool that has been proven to help you, and therefore, by definition, is a cheating tool. not sure why it isn't already banned, general opinion has turned against it as well and so many are quitting ultrabullet for that reason - the playing field is unfair.

@straggler
I wholeheartedly agree but where is better to play? I play increment, casual games to get around playing the KB devils.
If they haven't banned it by now, they never will. God Thibault doesn't play Bullet so he doesn't care.
EDIT;
Your suggestion about increasing the premoves up from 0.1 seconds is a good idea and would solve the problem.

I disagree. I don't know what you mean with keyboard players, but if you premove, the time taken of your clock should be zero. I've had similar problems (but in rapid mostly) and the solution is to play with increment, of just play faster. Sometimes you lose by less than a second, so both will help.
Edit: I just searched. If you are talking about the browser extensions that let you type the moves, your complain doesn't make sense. A mouse is much faster than typing.

Lol, that's what most people, including myself, think when they first hear about this software. What you have to understand is it's not the same thing as keyboard input, which is just typing the moves. We certainly wouldn't expect THAT to be any faster. No, what keyboarding is is a COMBINATION of mice and keyboard inputs. You click the square you want to move to AND with they keybaord you press the letter that corresponds to the piece you want to move. So for example, if you want to play queen to a1, you click on or hover over a1 and at the same time press the letter q. Lol, it's actually scarey how fast it is, and totally against the spirit of fair competition since the vast majority of people don't know how to or don't want to use it.
You can search youtube for tutorials if you still don't understand.

he might not even be using the keyboard extension. I've had similar sequences before and I don't use the keyboard extension. this was easy to play, you had no material and the board was empty

you had been losing since move 8... and you lost the game in the end. your thread is about not having been able to flag your opponent when you had been in a losing position from moves 8 to 72. This was just the expected outcome since move 8...
