Green Day was (maybe still is?) a punk/grunge band from the USA that was moderately popular in the 1990s. My son introduced me to their music back about 93 or 94. You've probably heard Good Riddance, but know it by the refrain, "I hope you had the time of your life". I sometimes used that song teaching EFL at a small college in the period 2005-2015. I also like Boulevard of Broken Dreams, but I can only listen to so much teen-aged angst before I get an itch to start up a geriatric grunge band and belt out punk songs about how tough it is to be growing old when all your friends are either dead or stuck in nursing homes.

Mind you they had some great foresight to be able to write a song about Biden.
