Man I am so scared

I dont have any experiences like that, but wish you the best : you'll be fine 200% :)

I dont have any experiences like that, but wish you the best : you'll be fine 200% :)

In the calm before dawn's light,
Courage blooms within your sight.
Through shadows deep and fears unknown,
Strength whispers, you're not alone.

As surgeons' hands with skill align,
May healing grace in gentle shine.
Each heartbeat strong, each breath anew,
Brings hope and health to see you through.

With every prayer, with every thought,
Know you're in the care you sought.
For in this journey, day by day,
Friend, may peace pave your way.

So here's a wish, sincere and true,
For strength and comfort to imbue.
Through surgery's path, may you find rest,
And swiftly, may you be truly blessed.

to be honest it is created by ChatGPT but contains my sincere wishes for you :)) @Dukedog

So I have to go into surgery next month, diverticulitis, a hole in my intestine. Signing surgery consent forms, transfusion forms, talking with my surgeon as far as best case and worst case scenarios. I mean I could die.
Anyway, not to bore you with the details but have you ever have to undergo major surgery?

Btw they're removing part of my intestine
Maybe Im just a wuss
But I am frightened

Don’t worry man, you’ll be fine. Whatever happens to you, remember that we are here with you always :)
Be strong, nothing is going to happen, this is for your good after all.
Wish you a speedy recovery <3

In 2003 I had to undergo 3 (!) surgeries within 2 months, 1 of them a major surgery comparable to yours, but all three of them under general anesthetic. Now it is 2024, and I am still alive - and in much better condition than I was then. So you will survive it, too! Best luck for your operation!

I would be worrying about the hospital bill rather than you ( since u live in the USA )
Well anyways I hope that the surgery is a success
