First time I’ve seen someone write so much about their favourite number. Gave you a horsey for that !

A real one or only the reaction?

3 for berserk
3 for a trio
3 musketeers
3 Primary Colours
3 Little Pigs.
3 for life!
Doesnt it seem magical seeing this beautiful combo on lichess: 3355, i know it has 5, but it isnt possible to get 5 points in a tournament in lichess without a 3!
3 FOR EVER!

Like the first answer, 7 is one of my favourite numbers due to being the objectively coolest-looking digit (prove me wrong). But my favourite number is RELATED to 7.

1/7 = 0.142857

As you're about to see, 142857 is a very special number.

if you rotate 142857's digits by any amount, it will always be a multiple of 142857, and it's the only 6 digit number with this property.

142857 = 142857 * 1
428571 = 142857 * 3
285714 = 142857 * 2
857142 = 142857 * 6
571428 = 142857 * 4
714285 = 142857 * 5

Therefore, the first 6 multiples of 142857 are cyclic permutations of each other. And if you go JUST a little bit further, 142857's 7th multiple is 999999. I find that kinda funny.

@Tae7
That was great.

My favourite number is 12, because:
12 has its own name in English, dozen.
Twelve is the largest single syllable numeral.
12 is the smallest abundant number.
12 is the smallest weight for which a cusp form exists.
12 is the number of months in a year.
12 hour pair equals a day length.
There are 12 Self-formed Lingas of Lord Shiva in Hindu temples across India according to the Shaiva tradition.
In Hinduism, the Sun god Surya and Monkey god Hanuman have 12 different names each.
The basic units of time (60 seconds, 60 minutes, 24 hours) are evenly divisible by twelve into smaller units.
There are 12 cranial nerves and 12 thoracic vertebrae in a human body.
12 is the number of function keys on a keyboard.
12 is the number of keys in a standard digital telephone.

My favourite number is 7 because the majority of my ratings have a 7 in them. I swear that was not deliberate! Reading up to here you are probably thinking oh god not another stupid post made by a dimwit who probably has an IQ of 7 but your opinion is about to change because I’m about to take you on a journey through the wonders of the number 7.

7 days of the week, 7 colours in a rainbow,

7 notes on a major scale, 7 seas and seven continents.

7 dwarfs in Snow White, 7 brides for seven brothers,

7 ages of man, 7 voyages of Simbad the sailor

7 pillars of Islam, 7 horcruxes in HP

Last but not least how can I forget the 7 deadly sins.
ever your username has a 7 in it
