I am a classical musician, so I have equal esteem, respect and love for the work of each composer. but in relation to important moments of my life, I would say that I love anything by Shostakovich. otherwise, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Haydn and Janacek particularly resonate in my head these days
I'm trying ambient music. Its dovetailing with prog and electronica I was familiar with like Envy of None.
Right now I'm totally into 1940s-1950s pop/swing/ boogie woogie, jump blues... everything right before Rock N Roll
I usually listen to metal and rock music. Tho lately I've been playing Doom (2016) ost during my games.
