+50 evaluation?

After 24. ... h5 the evaluation go +50, i know i have decisive advantage, but +50 is some tipe of supernatural thing

A position can only be won or drawn. I guess this position is won for one side.

If a position is really won, but the engine can't find a mate, it just says + 50 or so.

It's a bug. Maximum evaluation should be +10. @toadofsky @programfox

Well, I've seen +99 evaluations. Once I was messing around and eval was 70 or 80 something.

Any evaluation that is between like 9 and 99 are positions that typically have a forced mate but its' beyond the horizon. If the engine were left to run longer or a super computer like sesse or alpha zero were used it may announce mate. It just can't see deep enough to mate in spite of forced mate being a certainty.

Here is me finishing Stock 8 off in 15 moves from that position, I assume there is probably a faster mate.
