Invisible pieces after queening in Zen mode

While playing in Zen mode, I encountered the following issue:

After queening, no piece was displayed on the queening square.

The promoted piece was invisible, but I was still able to move it.

In the next game (rematch with the same opponent), only kings and pawns were visible on the board.

When I turned off Zen mode, all pieces became visible again.

Same problem here (but in a non logged in window), premoved two pawn promotions and the pawns just disappeared without showing a queen on my end. I didn't try moving the invisible pieces but I noticed I couldn't move a piece on that square (a king). Additionally, when looking at the game archive, it does show the two queens on the squares.

I doubt it's relevant but it was this game

This seems like a similar topic to the glitch that I experienced today. But I wasn't in Zen mode. Nor do I ever use Zen mode for play. I was simply playing a fast (2+1) game, and opponent pieces started to disappear when they moved, but would eventually reappear within a few moves. I was already losing, but still has some chances before those pieces started ghosting. By coincidence (or conspiracy if possible), my opponent had "ghost" in their user name and a donor flare.

Several new topics from the past few week are probably (in my humble opinion) about the same bug. The main conversation that developers look at seems to be at:

Please close this topic and direct comments there, though this isn't about just rooks and knights, nor just about Firefox.
