I'm not a strong player, i just enjoy playing chess and sometimes i play tournaments, sometimes limited ( 1500-1700 ELO ) tournaments. I don't expect to win but it just fells unfair when i see the first, second and third players with a performance way over the limit of the tournaments. I see that in every tournament and it seems to me much of a pattern rather than a rare occasion when a player is just bliss with an outstanding performance. I have no idea how this could be fixed but i mean... you that do this, like creating another account just to join such tournaments or lose rating on purpose, WHY?? I guess it fells good to see your name first and yeah, you beat a lot of people but man... it's like to take on children. You are way stronger, it's obvious that you'll win and if that's sound fun to you it's not for all the other people that have got in the limited tournament.

Maybe it's me and i don't get how performance work, or i'm just bad and frustrated eheh but i'd like to know if you (fellow not so strong player) fell the same way too. I'd love to see someone who does this coming out and explain but i'm pretty sure that if this things is really going on they won't come out so easly.

performence and rating are different.performance will be more than rating always for especially 1st 2nd and 3rd places.

Some are even cheaters like I competed U2000 arena but I don't join limited tournaments cuz of this reason
work hard so you will not need to play in small tournaments thats all I go to say and I need some members would you be kind enough to join my team lichess.org/team/yousinco
