@Satvikpattanaik #4 At this point, I'm confused with what is or isn't part of general chess discussions because there is a lot of games being shown that should be in game analysis and often nobody mentions a thing as long as the word chess is in the title.
Asking who is your favorite player on lichess seems part of a general discussion because it involves an opinion on a player of the game of chess. But it also doesn't require a discussion and isn't a very sophisticated question and is more along the lines of , what is your favorite colour> and there is no wrong opinions.
Although I don't like the question because it's annoying and only inspires a subjective opinion I would argue that if the post was in Off Topics, it would be misplaced as well. I'm too busy writing and replying to do my own research, so maybe someone else can clarify what's the correct placement.
