Who all remeber when we had followers list and we used to do ANYTHING to get more followers?

I really miss them.

Seriously though I reserved my follows for people I found witty,intelligent, well informed and for those I considered to be particularly bright or just the ones that were just good people imho.
Someone (a wise man) once said " chess players are obsessed with numbers" ( paraphrase) and that certainly was true of many.
That was also the time of the rampart emoji.
Sometimes to the extent of multiple pages and essentially saying nothing (if you don't know ,there was a full emoji menu at one time).
I really don't care one way or the other but I do think eliminating follower numbers was a good idea as was that of the emoji feature since both were subject to abuse and misuse.

Hi, it isn't a good idea to pretty much beg for followers. Lichess isn't built for followers you can follow, but that is not why it is built

and also plss bring back leaderboard otherwise its hard to see who is in top of it
