Seems like a feature that should *really* be implemented, and for a looooooong time. Doesn't make sense to lose when the site updates and disconnects you. Other sites do this I'm not sure what the issue is with lichess.
They already do this and it's so annoying. I'm like a queen and a rook up and 4 moves from mating his king, BOOM -- game cancelled. Are you kidding me, man?
They don't do this. I've been playing here for a year and it's infrequent but it happens. It is very annoying though.

That isn't the case. I've had this happen several times and this is the first time I made a post about it. I was playing an hour ago and I think I had about 1 minute left and then he stopped moving, I saw site update in progress and a minute later I lost due to disconnect.
