24 new tournaments have been created for each hour between May 22 0:00 UTC and 23:00 UTC.
Ideally if all works well (not tested yet), you can just bookmark this link, and whenever you open it, it will redirect you to the currently active tournament, based on the current time:
https://nnickoloff1234.github.io/i.want.crazyhouse.html
If it doesn't redirect you (which means something is wrong or it is not May 22 UTC yet/anymore), at least you will see the list of tournaments with links for each timeslot (mind you, times are in UTC).
Alternatively go to:
https://lichess.org/@/blundertulpa1/tournaments/created
For first 12 hours.
And:
https://lichess.org/@/blundertulpa2/tournaments/created
For second 12 hours.
These 2 users (that are kind of fake and hopefully do not violate some lichess rule) have been used to create the tournaments (there is a limit for 12 per user i think) and also are always joined to each tournament to keep it from getting cancelled if empty on start. But don't worry - they are offline so will not get paired with you.
Hopefully all works well. If yes, will repeat same next day, with fixes and more user friendly stuff.
PS: I'm open to suggestions about time controls - currently just arbitrary .
PPS: I suggest if today/tomorrow all works well, especially that link (https://nnickoloff1234.github.io/i.want.crazyhouse.html)
then we can think about some message in the Crazyhouse curator team about those tournaments, as well as other ways of promoting.
PPPS: Also not sure what to do with when timeslots overlap with "official" tournaments. Ask lichess to cancel them (i'm joking obviously)?
PPPPS: Whoever guesses first which audio visual cultural artefact is vaguely referenced in the apparently schizophrenic descriptions of the 2 dummy accounts gets to choose 1 time control in 1 slot
