For those who are curious as I was, here is an article exploring the maximum length that could be attained under FIDE rules for a chess game.

8849 moves
Under max time conditions: 6.31 days.

There is many games with 300 full moves, but no game beyond that (as far as I could verify).

I guess Lichess calls it a draw after that threshold.
