Okay to be serious, I do have some ideas for what to do:
⊘⊘1 A center right position on the political spectrum gives me appeal to the more rural neighborhoods while still not being cancelled if I appear downtown.
⊘⊘ϩ I want to adopt a similar strategy to Texas's "home first, rehab second" plan where instead of trying to make people change and then funnel them through the system you build more houses and give them a place to stay first. Because let's be honest, homes aren't half as expensive as the huge cost of rehab, and it's really hard for someone to change when they're still stuck on the streets and need to survive. If we quit taking the moral high ground and provide for people's basic needs first, they are far more likely to do well.
⊘⊘Ӡ A bit petty but I wanna find out why I've been eating a decade of meals with food that is about to or has already gone bad, with the only "safe" options being canned fruit and packaged meals like granola bars or applesauce. In my defence I spent elementary listening to presentations about how we were all idiots for eating nonhealthy foods while they fed us fruit with mold on it already (I'm looking at you PrimeTime)and told us it was fine...
⊘⊘५ I wanna invest in internship opportunities for all schools! We aren't a poor city, so we should stop living like one.
⊘⊘Ƽ I want the red tape on construction projects that delays them so much taken down. This tiny stretch of road right outside my home has been getting pipes installed for three years. THREE YEARS. And they're not even close to done. The traffic jam that results from the construction has caused people to be stuck in the area for up to 45 minutes. It's insane.
⊘⊘Ϭ Since we have so much grafitti already, why not invite students to paint giant murals all over the city for volunteer hours?
⊘⊘7 A possible "school exchange" program: High school students are selected through an audition program to teach students in disadvantaged schools various subjects, such as academic tutoring, chess of course, and VAPA courses like piano.
⊘⊘8 Reorder the stupid finances that allegedly made us so broke we now need to pay 500 dollars to take out the trash.
⊘⊘९ Just in general use the advantage that I would be young and fresh out of a bachelor's degree to show that we don't just need old people running everything! And of course, I would be able to campaign on social media :)
@Dukedog @ArITrA_SaHa6905 and everyone else - do I have your vote? ;)
