Fumi, put principles aside and dont withdraw. You have done a lot of effort to Reach the candidates. All that hard work for nothing kinda suck.

They disagreed with your points because they want JK in...How many people don't want him in again?
-
See okei's post.
Here:
"okei FischyVishy - 1 month ago
Hi Fischy Fumitoks wants a reply to his message to confirm HC is out.
FischyVishy okei - 1 month ago
Hey okei!
Nice stream, watched some of it
Yeah he's out"
What's your problem here? You sent me just one message and somehow don't want to to trust the challonge bracket, so you needed confirmation?!
- The panel is only to be used when lichess does not have sufficient grounds to mark (that is a corollary to one of the rules!).
Of course if it were 3+ it would imply disqualification from the CWC...
- Hmm...
Look I don't know why you're so revved up about this and not other things, but let me ask you this: would you have made the same fuss had Yasser or gnejs been given a wild card?

Me: "Not a single person said that they disagree with my points about your decision being unfair ... They might want JK in the candidates, but that's not the point at all.
Fischy: "They disagreed with your points because they want JK in"
Me: "By the way I am not opposed to JK entering the candidates per se, I am opposed to this shameless breaking of rules without talking to people first and this hypocrisy and elitism. "
Fischy: "Look I don't know why you're so revved up about this and not other things, but let me ask you this: would you have made the same fuss had Yasser or gnejs been given a wild card?"
and so on
Since you don't even read what I say, this conversation is over for me

As we discussed previously Fumitoks no rule was broken in giving JK the wild card. As tournament director he picked Opper, then JK when opper withdrew. The rule was bent to allow opper back in. No discussion is necessary. He belongs there.

Also you're a bit rich saying Fischy isn't reading your messages. You aren't reading mine (or the blog i linked you when you were asking who was in). I've explained to you countless times on Discord and in PMs how this came about but you always go back to the beginning again.
To be frank it feels like your issue isn't even about rules or communication but about who is running the show and you are doing what you can to discredit the CWC. Good job because if you keep that up there won't be a 3rd CWC.

They say charity starts at home.
Let me clarify a few things, before I start criticizing everybody:
- The sole purpose of this post is to give my opinion on the cause of the argument and what could prevent it in the future;
- I have not played in the tournament, so my ideas are not inherently worth anything;
- I respect that FischyVishy as the tournament director has the right to let players in as a wildcard in the candidates section;
- I respect Fumitoks' right to withdraw from the tournament, and can understand this decision.
Now, this tournament is is pretty big. It has a lot of players, especially very strong ones, and there's quite some money involved. Therefore, I feel the tournament director should be very careful when making decisions like suddenly opening up a far advanced section of the tournament to a player who did not even play any games whatsoever in the tournament. Whenever such a decision is made, it needs to be discussed well with the players. Best would be to inform and discuss with all participants in the entire tournament, in my opinion necessary is to discuss with all candidates.
It seems to me like the heart of the problem that Fumitoks is annoyed with is that no attempt was made to involve all participants of the tournament in a discussion. As okei mentioned earlier: "I heard what I know from public conversations on discord ... and what JannLee said from his stream, ..." If those were the sources one had to check to find out what happened, it makes perfect sense to me that Fumitoks didn't know about all this. You cannot just assume that all candidates read the Discord server and you can definitely not assume that all participants watch a Twitch stream. In my eyes, the solution would've been simple: a forum thread in this exact forum with the question to all competitors: "Is it okay if we give the wildcard to JK?" All competitors are here, and it's every single competitor's own responsibility to check the forum once in a while.

Fumitoks had read all this because first he was on Discord himself, and second I had spent ages telling him already everything I knew from my own public conversations on Discord with opper. Fischy announced JK' s inclusion as a fait accompli on this forum to which the reaction was overwhelmingly positive. And Fumi did raise his concerns then and justifications were already given then both in public and in private.
I'd never heard of JK at the time but learned from more experienced players that he was a legend of the game from FICS days, someone who deserved a wildcard like Yasser or Vaboris if he accepted it. This is exactly who a wildcard should be for especially since at the time opper was insisting he would withdraw. Thankfully he changed his mind.
