Did some changes occur in the backend of the lichess website today? My browser suddenly stopped displaying the lichess website properly
Same for me on my phone, most UI elements don't display at all with Opera, even the chess CAPTCHA.
It works with Google Chrome though, which I used to reply.
my phone browser is old ,seems cannot take the server changes . the PC Chrome is still OK
I had the same issue in Firefox and noticed the error in the web inspector console:
Uncaught TypeError: window.speechSynthesis is undefined
in about:config webspeech was disabled for me:
media.webspeech.synth.enabled was false, I changed it to true.
Now it works again, but maybe the Lichess site should handle this exception in a more graceful way?
