@Chrispo I believe the only person potentially capable of dethroning him in the future is Firouzja.
Not now, but in the future, he's still developing and learning but he showing tremendous potentially and is already climbing the ranks.
But the main reason he could is his fiery temperament in Rapid. If he can hold him to draws in the Long Play Firouzja will start swinging at Carlsen and put him under a lot of pressure. We have already seen him outplay Carlsen in Blitz before. And when you combine this Carlsen getting older and losing the passion for the game, then it would be possible. But we'll see.

magnus will be king for another 13 years then he will face young indian guns who will be thier prime after 12 yearsd then the championsiop is coming to india
The person who will dethrone him is just a child now.
