Isn't it obvious that tapping is faster than clicking? I lost too much games cause I am playing desktop against mobile. Do you think lichess will ever look at the problem deeply?
I find that I am much faster on desktop actually
With a good mouse and mousepad I think desktop is faster.
Some desktops have touchscreens. Some phones have mice.
