Why make it so complicated to join and start posting? I tried the .iam thing but it didn't work.

Monster Chess gives two moves for White for every 1 move of Black. Would require developing a completely different program.
"Weird, unknown??" Monster chess was one of the original variants and was very popular in some circles years ago.

Were you suggesting some variants aren't weird? Racing Kings , Horde, Atomic as examples are the "dumbest" things imaginable... but that's just an old traditional opinion.

When we played what is now Anti (was called Losers) all standard rules applied. Such as checks were enforced. Kings were not captured. If you checkmated the opponent, you lost. Made alot more sense than capturing the King. Endgames became theoretical. There weren't all the forced wins from an opening move (Anti solved for all but two opening moves is what I recall.)

Ok. I think I better understand after going to the site. Discord is a "chat" server. From the 1st post which stated "If you like playing variants, we got it", I mistakenly took this as games were available to play.
Not interested in an App. for chat, but good luck in future endeavors.

The house (discord.gg/x2MfjHD) improved my crazyhouse from 1500 to 2100 at least, they helped me improve my knowledge about ZH openings a lot!
