Let's share our background this week

My background is just dark mode, mainly because I haven't found a good background

There are many Windows users who have img0.jpg as their background (assuming your installation is on partition C, the path is C:\Windows\Web\Background\Windows\img0.jpg).

I didn't have a background before, but you inspired me to make one with Evolvotron. I call it "Warp in the Chessboard":

Here's a screenshot (imgur decided to save it as JPEG for some reason, drastically reducing the quality, but you get the idea):
https://i.imgur.com/uxWQHPL.jpg
I'll license it under CC BY-SA 4.0, meaning you can use, modify, and share it, but you must credit me and keep it under the same license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/

If anyone has some experience with evolvotron, you might want to play with the function, which I put here (also CC BY-SA 4.0): https://paste.debian.net/1279040

The image was rendered with

$ evolvotron_render -v -m 8 -s 1920x1080 lichess-background.png < lichess-background.xml

The animation also looks pretty cool, if you know how to render that.

Studies shown the green color helps to focus, I have a green gradient and it actually helped me improve(I won't be sharing it because it is under license, using it as a background is normal but sharing it ...)

Thanks, glad you liked it!

Evolvotron is cool, because it allows you to create cool stuff like this, even if you're a terrible artist like me. It shows you a grid of pictures, you click the one you like, and it generates ones similar to that one. So the pictures "evolve" to your liking.

This was the image I used for my profile on Chess.com.
